Perennial Bookclub is run by Prometheus Labs, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). By signing up for our newsletters or becoming a member you agree to these terms.
Our three newsletters, Great Ideas, Great Stories and True Stories, each send one reading from a classic book every morning, working through their books in order. Free readers get one newsletter at a time and can switch whenever they like. The books are classics whose original texts are free for anyone to read; we choose the editions, divide them into daily readings and add our own introductions and notes.
A membership costs US$5 a month or US$50 a year, as shown on the membership page and on your receipt. Members can read any or all three newsletters and get companion notes with every reading. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. Payments are processed for us by Kit and Stripe; we never see your card number.
You can cancel at any time by writing to hello@perennialbookclub.com, and we will confirm it by email. After you cancel you keep your membership until the end of the period you have paid for, then you can carry on with one free newsletter. To ask about a refund, write to the same address.
Our introductions, summaries, interpretations, glossaries and the way we arrange each reading are ours. Please don't republish them in bulk. You are welcome to forward an issue to a friend.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or any other consumer protection law that applies to you.
We work hard to send every reading on time and to make our notes accurate, but beyond rights the law does not allow us to limit, the newsletters are provided as they are. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. A price change for members takes effect only from your next renewal, and we will tell you by email first.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
